Birds of the Whitewater River
Birders and ecologists alike won't want to miss this lecture by author and part time La Quinta resident Robert Ross. Dr. Ross will present the findings of his extensive research on the ever changing Whitewater River area and the effects of these changes on the birds that make this unique habitat their home. Bob is a passionate birder and many of his stunning photos will accompany this lecture. Following the lecture, his book will be available for purchase, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the La Quinta Historical Society. March 12, 2020, 4-5p.m., La Quinta Museum. Free - Reservations suggested as seating is limited.
